I just got in from being away at mom's, and my copy arrived yesterday (but my son has it somewhere ). Your copy shipped on the 6th also, tubby, and DHL International with tracking number is 8269873113; the delivery estimate is for April 9th, so you should get it soon. (I hope that's accurate and that you do get it soon.)

Oooh, thanks Cindy. Hmmmmmm, according to DHL it was in Sydney yesterday, but whether it made it out here to the local mailman is not clear.... 'details not expected'. I'll check the mail box on the way out, and if it's not there now it may turn up tomorrow or at the very least on Tuesday. I have next weekend free, so I can wallow. Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! _________________ LAMENT: Chapter 21: - 16505 words |

| Mine arrived today, but I have to finish reading the latest Kim Harrison book before I can start it. And I'm spending all my reading time online reading/watching Dragonball interviews and reviews instead of finishing the book! |

Has anybody finished reading the book yet? If you want to post your thoughts, put a big spoiler warning up first. Can't wait to hear what you all think about it. _________________ LAMENT: Chapter 21: - 16505 words |

Enjoy! I'm about 1/2 through and think that it's very good. There have already been at least two important 'reveals' that I've noticed that will have impact/importance in future books, IMO. (I don't think it's ever taken me so long to read a DF book before, but RL has been interfering! ) |

*smiles at quivering tubby* Well, I stayed up until 3:40 this morning finishing Turn Coat. Very good book! It did a good job of setting up some new twists/turns for the future, tied up some arcs, as well as continuing the over-all storyline of the series. I'll post a bit more later when my brain (aka brian) is a little more functional. |

I couldn't wait for the book or the CDS so guess who just went to audible and now has a James reading Turncoat while she types?

I decided to open up a whole separate spoiler thread for Turn Coat, as I'd hate for anybody to get accidentally spoiled. So for all discussion and reviews of the book ....

Oooh -- cool cover; thanks, fender. That's the first one-word title to a DF book! I guess that's a pretty big hint that changes are coming. |

Very excited that we'll have a new Dresden book in 2 months time.
Apparently the first sample chapter will be out on or just after Feb 9th. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
Reading that this next book made the betas cry. *wibbles*
As long as my Thomas is okay I'll cope. I don't think they'd kill him off so soon, although I'd be amazed if Justine lasts until the end, especially if Thomas turns evil then has to find a way to turn his back on the White Court or wield a sword in her honour etc.
Yes, I worry for Thomas.
Which major characters do you think will be killed off over the course of the series?
And which major characters do you think will turn out to be evil? _________________ LAMENT: Chapter 21: - 16505 words |

I'm praying that Murph doesn't get offed sacrificing herself so that Harry can run off with Elaine or Susan.
Also, I'd like Thomas to stick around for a while. _________________ "The ultimate battle between good and evil is really goofy." - Crow T. Robot, MST3K's Samson vs. the Vampire Women. |

I do think that Elaine and Molly will both end up being evil, and sadly I think Molly will get some sort of 'out' and be redeeemed blah blah. Ramirez is evil!
My outsiders for Evil are Mister and Bob.
Dead? Elaine, Michael, Billy, Ebenezer, Justine, Luccio, Susan, possibly Murph.
Thomas will make it! He will! Mouse will too. And Toot!
My outsider for being alive at the end is Marcone.
I have no idea who the big bad is now that Jim has said that Justin is deader than dead and won't be coming back. I think I choose to believe he's lying and the big bad will turn out to be Justin after all. Either that or Harry's dad is the big bad. That would kind of be cool.
Demonreach intrigues me. Can't wait to find out all the secrets it holds, including its history.
Not sure we'll find out much more about Thomas yet, but something is up there. He's crafty! _________________ LAMENT: Chapter 21: - 16505 words |
